A lot of people have problems with sitting still and taking advantage of the “meantime.” Instead of looking for things to do to occupy your time until something better comes along, maybe you should sit back, relax, and enjoy the moment for what it is. Reflect on the past few months and the way you’ve changed since then, or catch up on sleep, reading, writing, playing music, or whatever it is you do in your spare time that you haven’t had time to do. Don’t be so quick to rush to the next phase of your life, because you need the meantime to keep your sanity and your health.
You’re only here for a short visit. Don’t hurry. Don’t worry. And be sure to smell the flowers along the way. –Walter Hagen
